Generally, I use ricotta cheese, but you can try any cheese like mozzarella or Italian cheese. Add spinach to add more nutritional value to your diet. 1 package jumbo pasta shells (12 ounces)
1 container ricotta cheese (15 ounces)
2 cups Sargento’s 6 Blend Italian shredded cheese.
2 tablespoons butter (melted)
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese (grated)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 jar spaghetti sauce (32 ounces)
Preheat oven. The temperature should be 325 degrees.
Select large-sized pasta so that you can fill the stuffing appropriately.
Cook the large-sized pasta according to the instructions given on the pasta packet.
Never overcook pasta otherwise you can not fill stuffing in it
As soon as the pasta is cooked, off the flame and pour it in a strainer.
Drain the excess water and rinse with clean water.
Take 3 eggs, as mentioned in the ingredients list.
Take a medium-sized bowl and lightly beat the eggs.
Now add ricotta, parsley, 3/4 cup the Italian cheese, salt, melted butter, and pepper
Mix them until evenly blended
Now prepare stuffed shells
Take shells and fill them with cheese mixture. Keep them aside
Now, mix parmesan cheese with Italian cheese. Use the ¼ cup of Italian cheese that is the remaining part after adding in the stuff
Take a baking dish of 9×13. You can choose the different size according to your oven size.
Spread spaghetti sauce on the bottom of the baking dish and make a thin layer. A thin layer should be evenly spread to bake correctly.
After completion of the thin layer, arrange the shell pasta filled with cheese stuffing on the top of the layer
Now pour remaining spaghetti sauce on the top of an arrangement of stuffed shell pasta.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese over it
Cover the 9×13 baking dish with foil
Put the bowl in preheated oven
Bake for half an hour (30 or up to 50 minutes)
