Ingredients

  • 12 oz. cooked pasta shells
  • 10 oz. sweet Italian sausage
  • 2 cup chopped fennel
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 chopped shallot
  • Lemon zest
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Spices of choice

Method

Cook the Italian sausage for 6 minutes in a skillet. Add butter, tomatoes, shallot, and fennel. Then add the white wine and cook the sausage for 15 minutes. Add pasta shells along with warm water and stir well. Sprinkle your choicest spices, lemon zest, cheese, and fennel to complete this best Italian dish.

Bean & Italian Sausage Soup

This spicy sausage soup has the goodness of Italian sausage, cannellini beans, and rosemary. Basic veggies of the recipe include onion, garlic, and basil.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. Italian sausage
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1 can of cannellini beans
  • 4 Tsp. tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 3 chopped celery stalks
  • 2 Tsp. chopped rosemary
  • Basil and Parmesan for garnishing

Method

Cook sausage, celery, onion, tomato paste, garlic, and rosemary in a pot for about 6-7 minutes. Stir in the chicken stock, white wine, and cannellini beans. Low the flame and cook the sausage soup for 10 minutes or so. Garnish with shredded cheese as well as basil before serving.

  • 5 sliced Italian sausages (hot or sweet)
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cups sliced bell peppers
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 2 small onions
  • 1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil
  • 2 Tsp. ground oregano
  • Salt, chili flakes, and black pepper

Method

Combine garlic, oil, oregano, chili flakes, salt, black pepper, and vinegar in a bowl. Stir in onions and peppers. Transfer the coated veggies into a lined pan and scatter sausage over the veggies. Bake in an oven that’s preheated to 400° for about 40 minutes. Garnish the sausage recipe with fresh basil and serve.

Italian Sausage Stuffed Zucchini

Prepare savory zucchini boats by stuffing them with cheese, sausage, and breadcrumbs. Have these zucchini boats in lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 halved zucchini boats
  • 1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 4 sliced chicken sausages
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1/2 cup fontina cheese
  • 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil

Method

Heat oil in a pan and cook chicken sausage in it for 7 minutes. Turn off the flame and add breadcrumbs, garlic, cheeses, and basil. Spoon this sausage mixture into the zucchini boats and garnish the boats with mozzarella cheese. Bake the zucchini boats in the oven preheated to 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

  • 2 cups bulk Italian sausage
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup chopped yellow and red pepper
  • 2 cup quick-cooking grits
  • 1 chopped sweet onion
  • 3 Tbsp. half-and-half cream
  • 2 Tsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • 6 cups of water

Method

Cook peppers, onion, and sausage in a pan for 8 minutes. Crumble the cooked sausage pieces and drain. Take water in a saucepan and stir in the grits once the water is boiled. Cook the grits on a medium-low flame for 6 minutes while stirring from time to time. Turn off the flame and stir in the cheeses, salt, pepper, and cream.

Now make fried eggs by heating oil and cooking them until set. Transfer the cooked grits on a place and top with these eggs and sausage mixture.
